On the Tanzania side of Kenya’s Amboseli National Park lays Sinya in Maasai tribal land. The area, which use to be a hunting concession, has the same game as does Amboseli but without the restriction of being confined to the roads. In fact, there are no roads in Sinya. You will see the plains game and of course lots of elephant and giraffe. There is also lesser kudu, oryx, gerenuk, hyena, and the rare African wild dog, although it is rare that they are seen. Here you enjoy both day and night game drives as well as walks with Maasai warriors, where you will see nature up close and experience all the sights, smells and sounds of the African wilderness. A highlight to your visit to Sinya is that you will meet and interact with one of Africa’s most colorful tribal peoples.
