A wonderful way to end your East Africa safari is to spend a few days on the Island of Zanzibar. The following is just one suggestion for a minimum stay of three nights. If you have more time, you can either extend your time in Stone Town or on the beach at one of the resorts. We recommend at least three nights.
Sample Itinerary
Day 1
Nairobi or Arusha - Zanzibar
If you are ending your safari in Kenya, you would fly from Nairobi to Zanzibar today. If you are ending your safari in Tanzania, you fly from Arusha to Zanzibar.
Most international flights depart in the evening. However, you will need to check out of your hotel before noon. You can spend time in Stone Town in the afternoon before flying to Dar es Salaam to connect with your flight home.
