HWANGE NATIONAL PARK EXTENSION

You are invited to join Roy Toft for four more days of photography in Zimbabwe’s most popular park. Hwange is located in the northwest section of Zimbabwe, along the border of Botswana. It is Zimbabwe's largest park and home to over 100 species of animals and over 400 species of birds. The park includes a number of habitats including Kalahari sandveld, mopane woodland, river courses and pans. The waterholes found throughout the park support the rich wildlife and may reward you with views of lion, elephant and hippo.

Victoria Falls – Hwange National Park

We are transferred to the airport this morning for our flight to Hwange National Park. Upon arrival we will be transferred to our lodge. This afternoon we enjoy our first game drive in the park.

Hwange National Park

The area within the park is ecologically diverse, including vast, open palm fringed plains, grasslands, woodlands, and forests. This ensures a great number of animals year round - including elephants, rhino, buffalo, sable, roan, giraffe and sometimes even gemsbok. The area is one of the best for predators and we can expect to view lion, leopard, wild dog and cheetah along with the smaller African wild cat, serval, honey badger, civet and hyena.

This morning we fly to Victoria Falls International Airport where we connect with our outbound scheduled flight to Johannesburg.

Not Included:
Not included are international, domestic airfare and, personal expenses such as personal insurance, excess baggage fees, phone calls, gratuities to guides, airport departure taxes, passport and visa fees, and extra nights in Africa not included in itinerary. The game park fees are not included and are paid direct at $35.00 per day (Subject to Change)
