FOCUS ON PLANET EARTH PRESENTATIONS

We have contacted all of the major zoos and natural history museums in the USA requesting that they sponsor evening presentations to communicate our message. To date, the following have indicated interest in sponsoring a presentation:

We will be contacting college and universities that have arts and lecture programs to sponsor presentations for the 2007–08 season.

Currently, we are booking a presentation titled, Climate Change and the Future of Life on Earth featuring Dr. Richard Leakey in several cities. Dr. Leakey has name recognition and he draws people to his lectures.

The presentation begins with a multi-media slide show on how ecotourism benefits the people in Africa and conservation. This presentation is being changed to show the progression of mankind from the beginning of time until present time to give the audience a perspective of our species has evolved over time.

Footage from the movie The Gods Must Be Crazy and images from the Focus on Africa photographers will be used in the 2006 and 2007 presentations. The presentation will be up-dated in 2007 to include images taken by the Focus on Planet Earth participating photographers. We will have presented in several cities by the end of 2007. By the spring of 2008, we will be communicating the message in both large and small venues in communities all across America.
